Paul Harris Fellows
A Paul Harris Fellow is a distinction shared by men and women in more than one hundred nations, many of whom have made significant contributions to world peace and understanding. Anyone who furthers these efforts by contributing $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation is named a Paul Harris Fellow. A Paul Harris Fellow is also someone in whose memory or honor $1,000 is contributed to the Rotary Foundation.

Christiana Rotarians have a long history of generously contributing to the Rotary Foundation. Despite the size of our Club, we rank among the top in District 7630. Our members contribute to the Foundation in several ways. Some members contribute $1,000 in a lump sum, and then continue making quarterly or annual contributions. Some members prefer to send a check for $100 annually. Other members prefer to be Rotary Foundation Sustaining Members by having $25 added to their quarterly bill by the Club’s treasurer. When they have a relatively small amount left, they contribute the balance to reach $1,000 and they become a Paul Harris Fellow.
Any member who has a question about the Foundation or about becoming a Paul Harris Fellow or a Rotary Foundation Sustaining Member should contact our Club’s Foundation Chair Person.
A Paul Harris Fellow receives the following items in recognition of the contribution that has been made to the Foundation:
A Paul Harris Fellow who makes additional gifts totaling $1,000.00 or more is recognized as a Multiple Paul Harris Fellow and receives a Multiple Paul Harris Pin with one or more sapphires or rubies, depending on the level of giving.
